A simple but elegant dinner with UNICEF’s Philippine Representative Ms. Lotta Sylwander is a nice respite from the daily hustle and bustle of work and a great opportunity to meet a wonderful person who does much for the country. Pronove Tai, International Property Consultants is a staunch supporter of UNICEF’s Trick or Treat programme. For the 2015 Halloween weekend, Pronove Tai distributed around 200 coin boxes to partners for their children to bring around during their trick-or-treating events.

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF was launched in 2012 following the Kids Helping Kids global campaign that had been running for more than 60 years. The main idea of the campaign is instead of asking for candies and treats during Halloween, children fundraise for Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF to help children in need. The donations collected from trick or treating will help provide lifesaving medicines, clean water, nutrition and education to disadvantaged children in poor and hard to reach communities.

The dinner event was hosted by Ms Sylwander and attended by Pronove Tai CEO Monique Cornelio-Pronove and President Dan Pronove. At this gathering, Lotta acknowledged the contribution of the guests to UNICEF’s programmes. She also sought help to drive more interest and corporate support in UNICEF’s work in health, nutrition, disaster risk reduction, water sanitation and hygiene.
